Wild date Palm trees grow along the water streams in most of the tropical regions in southasian countries.These trees grow naturally with the rainfall, without any manual intervention. No chemicals, pesticides or fertilisers are applied to these trees to grow.
Nutritious healthy extract - Neera
Wild Date Sap(Neera) is the nutritious healthy liquid that is extracted by tapping the inflorescene of the tree. Neera is a rich natural source of minerals and vitamins. The Palm trees have been traditionally tapped for their sweet nectar for centuries, through out the tropical regions especially in South India, we collect sap from variety of Palm trees.
The trees are tapped after the Sunset and the Sap is collected overnight into containers.These containers are collected before the Sunrise and kept refrigerated to maintain the pH value above 7. This sap is further processed and evaporated under low temperatures to make products like Palm Nectar and Palm Jaggery.
It has high sweet flavour and is not alcoholic when it is not fermented. Neera is maintained below 4°C so it doesn't get fermented and thus it is 0% Alcohol.
